GSG (German Sporting Guns) specialise in working replicas of iconic firearms and manufactured this as a .22LR semi-auto version of the MP44 - the first assault rifle. Just the looks of the StG 44 / MP44 alone made it stand out as a futuristic (for World War 2) and exceptional firearm. This example is deactivated to the latest UK / EU standard and comes with its deactivation certificate from the Birmingham Proof House. The charging handle moves under spring pressure, the safety moves and the mag ejects. A nice affordable version of the classic MP44.
