Lee Enfield No 4 Mk I, manufactured in 1942, with aperture sight, made by Savage (Stevens Arms) in the USA. These Savage (Stevens) Lee Enfields were made following the 1941 Lend-Lease Act for Britain and the Commonwealth countries. Whereas most Savage Lee Enfields were maunfuctured as the simplified No 4 Mk I*, this is an unusual early-production Savage, which pre-dates the No 4 Mk I* and so it retains the bolt-release catch.
Deactivated sympathically in 1988, it cocks, dry-fires and the bolt can be removed.
Comes with:
- Sling
- Charging clip with 5 inert .303 rounds
Supplied with its Birmingham Proof House deactivation certificate. Conditions apply (see T & Cs).
